Volunteering

Volunteers have played a significant role at Sandycombe Lodge during the past few years.  As guides and stewards, they have ensured that our many visitors have enjoyed the experience of coming to Turner’s House in its pre-restoration state, and the gardeners have kept the grounds in splendid condition.  During the conservation period, guide training will take place and new volunteers will be welcome to join in these programmes, which will be organized by the House Director and Learning Manager, once they are appointed. After conservation, volunteers will return to their guiding, stewarding and gardening roles.  Most volunteers are members of the Friends of Turner’s House.

Volunteering at Sandycombe Lodge will continue to be a very enjoyable and rewarding experience for all those involved. If you would like to become a volunteer, please fill out this application form and email it to Michelle Graabek on mgraabektht@gmail.com.
