Returning Turner to Twickenham is a big project, but with your help we can bring it to a successful conclusion, and support it for the benefit of future generations. Here are some of the ways you can contribute.
Donations, however large or small, will be gratefully received and used carefully. Please let us know if you are happy for your name to be listed as a donor or if you would prefer not to. Please send donations in the form of a cheque or charity voucher (e.g. a CAF credit). These should be made payable to Turner’s House Trust and sent to the Hon. Treasurer, Turner’s House Trust, 11 Montpelier Row, Twickenham TW1 2NQ. Alternatively, please use BT’s mydonate service.
If you pay by cheque and are a UK taxpayer, please download and print this form. We will then be able to reclaim from the Revenue the tax you are deemed to have paid on this and any subsequent donation – currently at 25p for every £1 donated, so extremely useful. (Information about Gift Aid.)
Turner’s House Trust is most grateful to those individuals who have made, or plan to make, a gift to Turner’s House Trust in their will. This is a wonderful way to help the project to Return Turner to Twickenham. We need to raise a large sum of money to make it possible to carry out the renovation of Sandycombe Lodge. When the work is finished, money left to us will help us to provide the best possible experience for visitors, and continue the maintenance of this important historic house. The work of the Trust is never finished. There are ongoing conservation and renovation requirements so please continue to help us secure this heritage for future generations. Our fundraising target is now just under £100,000.
Turner’s House Trust is a registered charity, so any money you leave us in your will, or in a codicil to it, will come to us free of inheritance tax – potentially saving 40% tax.
If you would like to consider leaving money to us, please either consult your solicitor or get in touch with us through email@example.com or phone us on 020 8892 3908.
